In some very sought-after areas of the Principality, it can be a challenge to find an apartment for sale. Monaco-Ville is without a doubt a district where property rarely makes its way onto the sales market.
Monaco-Ville, also known as The Rock of Monaco, is where the history of the Principality began. The picturesque streets lined with pastel-coloured residences neighbour the Prince’s Palace, where generations of Monegasque royals have lived for centuries. The white stone Roman-Byzantine Saint Nicholas Cathedral, built in the 19th century, is a popular tourist destination and the final resting place of many members of the princely family, including Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace, who married there.
