Introduction

There is often confusion over the name ‘Monte-Carlo’ with many wrongly assuming that the terms refers to the Principality of Monaco as a whole, and not just one of the four communes, namely Monte-Carlo, Fontvieille, La Condamine and Monaco-Ville. At La Costa Properties Monaco we have a large selection of Monte-Carlo apartments for sale and rent, including studio rentals and multiple-room properties for families. Our team of consultants are on hand to offer you advice and information on this extremely sought-after rental district.

Highlights of Monte-Carlo

As previously mentioned, Monte-Carlo is the area in which many of the Principality’s most famous landmarks are situated. Residents living in Monte-Carlo rentals are within an easy walking distant of the world-renowned Casino Square where they can enjoy a coffee at the Cafe de Paris, or an evening aperitif at the Hotel de Paris. The Casino de Monte-Carlo, established in 1863, takes pride of place on the square and is a magnet for visitors to Monaco. Many of the Principality of Monaco’s most luxurious boutiques such as Dior, Louis Vuitton and Cartier are also located in Monte-Carlo, in the glamorous district labelled the Carré d’Or. Slightly set back from the ultra sophisticated Casino Square are a number of supermarkets for everyday shopping, such as Carrefour City, in rue Genets, and Marché U, on boulevard Princesse Charlotte. Those renting an apartment in Monte-Carlo are also within a gentle stroll from the Metropole Shopping Centre with its plethora of cafes and shops such as FNAC, Sephora Tommy Hilfiger and Gucci Kids.
