Rent an Apartment in Monaco with Sea View

The tiny city-state of Monaco is only 2 square kilometres in size and its urban planning can’t help but be influenced by its rocky terrain and narrow coastline. This results in some fabulous vistas and Monaco rentals with a sea view are in high demand. Monaco is bordered by France to the north, south and west, but its idyllic location on the Mediterranean Sea to its east is what gets the most attention. The Principality is famous for its iconic Port Hercule, home to an array of the most expensive and luxurious superyachts in the world. At night the yachts glisten on the water while some of the yachts have gigantic neon lamps below the surface that turn the water aqua blue. In fact, a Monaco rental in any part of the Principality can provide outstanding views due to its hilly incline.

Introduction

Monaco is the world’s most densely populated country and also its second smallest nation, but it has some immense views for its diminutive size. Due to its location on the Mediterranean, Monaco real estate comes with the some of the best sea views in Europe. Investors have long seen the benefits of living in this historic city-state due to its mild climate, beautiful scenery and relaxed tax system. Luxury Monaco rental properties with sea views come with superb interiors, ultra-modern features, which include floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies that take advantage of their enviable location. It is therefore not surprising that Monaco rentals with a sea view are in high demand.

Living on the Côte d'Azur

Monaco’s position on the sunny Cote d’Azur puts it on the doorstep of some beautiful Riviera towns and villages. There are fantastic transport links to place like Cannes where high-profile events take place and it is also close to the Alps for wintertime skiing. A Monaco rental puts you at the heart of the cultural and sporting life of the Riviera. Due to space limitations the natural inclination is to build upwards and the tallest building is the 49-storey Odeon Tower. At 170m high, the ultra-modern concrete and glass building is set back from Larvotto Beach and offers amazing sea views. Remarkably, most of the buildings in Monaco aren’t skyscrapers, but the steep hills they are built on give that impression, so Monaco rentals with a sea view are easier to find than you might expect.

Life in the Principality

Life in Monaco is never dull and it is host to range of events year round, including the famous Grand Prix and the Monaco Yacht Show. Daily life is also good for those who invest in Monaco real estate with an abundance of upscale restaurants, fitness centres, designer shops and a rich cultural programme of events. Many foreign visitors fall in love with the place and decide to look for Monaco rentals long term. They are attracted by the Principality’s safety, its generous tax rules and its good connections to the rest of Europe.
